Another new feature that the model brings to the table as far as Surface Laptop history is concerned is the Thunderbolt 4 and USB 4.0 support for its USB-C port. Surface Laptop 5 continues to carry a USB-A port and 3.5mm headphone jack as well as a Surface Connect port.

Similar to the Surface Pro 9, Microsoft has also implemented Dolby Vision IQ on Surface Laptop 5 which is a feature that dynamically adjusts the display settings according to the surrounding ambient light.
