Peguam meminta mahkamah mempertimbangkan nama baik Sultanah Nur Zahirah dalam samannya terhadap editor Sarawak Report, Clare Rewcastle Brown.
Sultanah Nur Zahirah memulakan saman terhadap Editor Sarawak Report, Clare Rewcastle Brown pada 2018.
Beliau berkata mahkamah juga patut mengambil kira Rewcastle Brown enggan memohon maaf apabila dituntut berbuat demikian. Vishnu yang tampil bersama Haaziq Pillay Abdullah berkata Rewcastle Brown tidak menyatakan sebarang kekesalan sebelum kes dibicarakan. “Defendan berkata terdapat pembetulan dalam cetakan pertama buku itu, tapi malangnya tiada minta maaf.”Vishnu berkata sultanah tidak menuntut ganti rugi yang dahsyat walaupun penyata tuntutannya menuntut RM100 juta daripada setiap defendan.
Americk berkata sekiranya anak guam beliau didapati boleh dipertanggungjawabkan, maka sultanah berhak diberi jumlah ganti rugi yang kecil memandangkan keadaan kes.
