PETALING JAYA: A total of 33 types of public transportation and goods vehicles will continue to enjoy subsidised diesel through the use of fleet cards under the Subsidised Diesel Regulation System Pilot Project , says Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Minister Datuk Armizan Mohd Ali .
“This is to enable cash rebate claims to be made to the Finance Ministry in accordance with the application procedures that will be announced later,” he said in a statement yesterday. Under the fleet card system, the government would have a proper record of logistics companies’ usage trends. “We would like to emphasise that all existing directives and regulations related to the sale of diesel remain in force and applicable amid the announcement of this new diesel price.”
