The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (SPRM) will record statements from three celebrities, including a well-known singer, to assist in the investigation of a money laundering and corruption case (Op Sky) involving a financial consultancy firm. The three individuals are expected to be at the SPRM headquarters in Putrajaya at 10 am tomorrow. They are not considered suspects, but their statements are needed to complete the investigation papers.Previously, SPRM chief Azam Baki said the investigation found that celebrities and artists involved received payments of up to RM400,000 over a period of one to two years as ambassadors for the company for promotional purposes.
