The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (SPRM) clarified that it will not freeze the bank accounts of three celebrities called in for questioning related to Op Sky. The celebrities, namely Datuk Jalaluddin Hassan, Ziana Zin, and Datuk Dr Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor Al Masrie Sheikh Mustapha, were invited to assist in the investigation as they were appointed as influencers for the said financial consultancy company.
PUTRAJAYA: Suruhanjaya Pencegahan Rasuah Malaysia memaklumkan pihaknya tidak akan membekukan akaun bank tiga selebriti yang dipanggil berhubung Op Sky .
Sementara itu, Azam juga mengesahkan tiga selebriti tanah air itu ialah Datuk Jalaluddin Hassan, Ziana Zin dan Angkasawan Negara, Datuk Dr Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor Al Masrie Sheikh Mustapha hadir ke Ibu Pejabat SPRM pagi ini untuk dirakam keterangan. “Ketika ini, siasatan akan melihat kepada semua sudut dan kami akan melihat sama ada keterangan mereka ini dapat membantu siasatan atau tidak.
Mengulas perkembangan siasatan Op Sky itu, Azam berkata, setakat ini, akaun-akaun bank yang dibekukan kini mencecah RM18 juta. “Kami akan meneruskan siasatan juga mengenai perkara itu walaupun ia bukan di bawah akta pencegahan rasuah,” katanya.
