In Across the Spider-Verse, Miles Morales re-teams with his fellow hero Gwen Stacy to stop the portal-opening villain known as the Spot , while Miles and Gwen also learn some unexpected truths about their fellow Spider-People and the seemingly heroic organization known as the Spider-Society.
