THE southwest monsoon or 'habagat' will continue to bring rain in most parts of the country, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Tuesday. READ HERE:

'Based on our forecast track, the country is expected to be free from any storm in the coming days and the southwest monsoon is the one that is affecting large parts of the country,' Pagasa's weather specialist Grace Castaneda said.

She said habagat continues to affect Central and Northern Luzon in particularOver the next 24 hours, the Pagasa forecaster said flash floods or landslides due to heavy to, at times, intense rains may be possible over Ilocos Region, Batanes and Babuyan Islands due to monsoon rains.
