The Skilldrvn One Make Race Series, a popular four-wheel motorsport event in Malaysia, is set to commence its third season in 2025. The series, organized by Kegani Racing Academy, features five rounds held alongside other racing events. Using identically prepared Suzuki Swift vehicles, the series aims to make racing more affordable and accessible. The 2024 season witnessed Loke Yin Yi emerge as the champion, while 15-year-old rookie Kirill Syrapushchynski secured a runner-up position.
The four-wheel circuit motorsports scene in Malaysia is set to get going once again this year with the return of the Skilldrvn One Make Race Series that has run for two seasons with the Suzuki Swift, and will enter its third season in 2025, run by the Kegani Racing Academy and which will consist of five rounds held in conjunction with the
Participants in the Skilldrvn One Make Race Series compete using identically prepared examples of the Suzuki Swift for the purpose of making racing more affordable, with only minor modifications to the car allowed. Propulsion for each race car is by a sealed, production 1.6 litre engine with a spec remap for the engine management unit, through a five-speed manual transmission with standard ratios.
In 2026, the Kegani Racing Academy will introduce the Skilldrvn Swift Supercup Pro Series which will run alongside the One Make Race Series. Participation in the Pro Series will capped at 10 teams with one driver per team, and the teams are to select their drivers from the One Make Race Series talent pool for competition at at higher, professional level.
