Salah seorang yang menjadi kebanggaan SK Dato’ Demang Hussin yang pernah menuntut di situ ialah Yang Dipertua Negeri, Tun Mohd. Ali Mohd. Rustam yang juga bekas Ketua Menteri. “Tahun demi tahun pembangunan fizikal sekolah ini turut berubah dan berkembang sejajar dengan arus lonjakan transformasi dan modenisasi dalam sistem pendidikan negara.
Tambah Hamime, seiring dengan kemajuan dunia pendidikan, pihaknya menyahut cabaran untuk mendepani pelbagai usaha Kementerian Pendidikan melahirkan generasi celik digital yang berdaya saing dalam kalangan pendidik dan murid.
