Kementerian Perdagangan Dalam Negeri dan Kos Sara Hidup Perak merampas 430 kilogram minyak masak kerana disyaki disimpan tanpa permit di sebuab restoran di Medan Simpang dekat Taiping semalam.

Pengarahnya Datuk Kamalludin Ismail berkata pemeriksaan dilakukan oleh sepasukan anggota penguat kuasa KPDN Cawangan Taiping pada 1 tengah hari itu merampas 86 botol minyak masak botol lima kg serta dokumen berkaitan. “Nilai keseluruhan barang rampasan dianggarkan berjumlah RM 2,657.40. Siasatan lanjut yang dijalankan mendapati restoran terbabit gagal mengemukakan lesen atau permit berkaitan barang kawalan minyak masak,“ katanya dalam kenyataan hari ini.
