IPOH: The Perak Immigration Department has arrested 65 undocumented migrants and three local employers during a raid on 10 Thai restaurants in the city centre.
The detainees included 38 Thai men, 21 Thai women and three toddlers, ranging in age from two years to 51. "They will also be investigated under Section 15 of the same Act for overstaying and Rule 39 of the Immigration Regulations for violating visit pass conditions," he said in a statement on Tuesday .Meor Hezbullah said they would be investigated under Section 56 of the Immigration Act for harbouring undocumented foreigners.
