A head-on collision on the Sydney Harbour Bridge has closed multiple lanes heading into the city, causing significant traffic. All lanes citybound for a while had been closed; one has now since been reopened in the last couple of minutes. Aerial shots of the Harbour Bridge show the extent of the traffic with cars gridlocked in at least three lanes heading towards the city. “The Harbour Bridge is closed citybound due to a multi-vehicle crash on the deck of the bridge,” Live Traffic Sydney said in a tweet just before 8am. The crash is believed to have occurred about 7:45 am.
