Shooting shatters gas station's front door in Vista [Breaking]
A shooting left a Vista gas station’s glass front door shattered early Sunday, but no one was hurt, a sheriff’s official said.
The shooting occurred shortly after 1 a.m. at the intersection of Olive Avenue and North Melrose Drive, according to sheriff’s Lt. Martha Hernandez. Multiple gunshots were fired and a vehicle was heard speeding away. Deputies who responded found the front door shattered at the 76 gas station, located at the intersection. An employee was the only person inside and was unharmed, Hernandez said.Anyone with information about the shooting was asked to call the Sheriff’s Department at 565-5200.
