Malaysian Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr. Dzulkefly Ahmad stated that any individual, including the Malaysian government, can take legal action over the Covid-19 vaccination issue. However, the outcomes will be determined by legal processes in court. A lawsuit involving eight individuals seeking RM60 million in damages has been filed against 25 defendants, including the Prime Minister, former Prime Ministers, and the World Health Organization.
SHAH ALAM: Tiada halangan kepada pihak yang memfailkan saman mengenai vaksinasi Covid-19 namun keputusannya bergantung kepada proses perundangan di mahkamah.
“Ia adalah hak rakyat dan sesiapa sahaja boleh ambil tindakan kerana kita sebuah negara yang mengamalkan rule of law. Utusan Malaysia hari ini melaporkan lapan individu termasuk tiga waris memfailkan saman menuntut ganti rugi berjumlah RM60 juta daripada 25 defendan termasuk Perdana Menteri, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, dua bekas Perdana Menteri dan Pertubuhan Kesihatan Sedunia .
Mereka mendakwa vaksinasi Covid-19 menyebabkan kematian dan komplikasi kesihatan teruk yang mana Dr. Dzulkefly antara 25 defendan yang dinamakan dalam saman tersebut.
