Constable Sizwe Zungu returned to the Gauteng High Court in Pretoria on Monday, where he is currently under cross-examination.
In his evidence-in-chief, Zungu said he was with the accused at the Sotho Hostel in Vosloorus on 26 October 2014, the same night that Meyiwa was murdered.
