MAG is fully owned by the country's sovereign wealth fund Khazanah Nasional. The acquisition price was not disclosed. Abang Johari highlighted that the airline will boost Sarawak's domestic and international connectivity. "This will emphasise the regional prestige of Sarawak as a premium travel destination," he said at the signing ceremony in Kuching.
