The 2024 edition of the Lagos Praise Jamz, was held in Lagos during the week with the wife of Lagos State Governor, Dr Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu underscoring the importance of praising God.
She noted that what started as a monthly praise and prayer session some years back, has now evolved into Annual Lagos Praise, a significant statewide event.
Quoting the bible, she said praise is fundamental and one of the catalysts that guarantee access to the presence of God. Winners have emerged in the maiden Hadith Competition sponsored by the Mohammed VI Foundation of African Oulema in Prophet’s Hadith held during the week at the Abuja National Mosque.
Motorists and commuters have called on Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, to rehabilitate the ‘Ile Zik’ section of the Agege Motor Road that is inflicting pains on residents.
