PERTH: An unruly airline passenger has been ordered by an Australian court to pay a hefty sum for his disruptive behaviour during a flight from Perth to Sydney, which forced the plane to turn back to Perth, necessitating a fuel dump before landing.
KOTA KINABALU: Sabah ’s Tourism , Culture and Environment Ministry is gearing up for a series of international trips as part of efforts to promote the state’s unique attractions and secure new business opportunities abroad.
"Our officers are well-versed in the traditions, food, attractions, and educational opportunities that Sabah offers. These are all crucial elements in our tourism strategy," she said. Liew then said that Chinese delegates are particularly keen on sending students to Sabah for cultural exchanges and added that this is due to the growing interest in Sabah’s unique way of life.
"We’re expecting more visitors, and I’m already concerned about whether we’ll have enough space to accommodate everyone," she said. Liewthen said that she plans to visit the United States next year, aiming to open even more doors for Sabah’s growing tourism sector.
