Kota Kinabalu: Sabah bersedia untuk mengadakan satu lagi acara sukan antarabangsa dengan River Stand Up Paddling (SUP) Ultra Race yang dirancang untuk tahun depan.
Nick Boura, seorang warga Perancis yang sudah menetap di Sabah sejak 18 tahun lalu berharap edisi pertama acara unik itu akan direalisasikan pada akhir 2024.Beliau berkata mesyuarat telah diadakan dengan pihak berkuasa berkaitan dan beberapa sungai sedang dinilai dan diuji oleh pasukannya. Keputusan mengenai tempat perlumbaan dijangka akan dibuat dalam beberapa bulan akan datang dan beliau percaya acara itu akan meletakkan Sabah dalam peta pelancongan sukan dunia.

Economic growth has been stunted with the lowest household income and highest rate of unemployment. Thousands of young Sabahans have migrated to W Malaysia and Singapore to seek jobs and better pay.
