Kuala Lumpur police chief Comm Datuk Seri Mazlan Lazim said that the police also detained three men, believed to be the syndicate members, during an operation conducted from July 3 to 7.
"We seized 300g of syabu and RM1,300 cash. Later, at 5.40pm, the police raided another serviced apartment in Brickfields and arrested a 35-year-old man. We also seized an array of drugs, including heroin and methamphetamine," he said. "We inspected a safe in the unit and seized RM201,080 cash and close to RM20,000 in foreign currencies in different denominations. Jewellery worth RM284,505 was also seized," he said.
