Mr Sydney Gbara, State Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party in Rivers, said the political crises in the state will soon end.

The party image maker commended the governor for demonstrating self comportment by not allowing room for distractions in the midst of hightened political disagreements. He noted that whenever the governor deemed necessary, the party would readily make available its machineries for the election. His Eminence, Cardinal John Onaiyekan, has said that it was time for Nigeria to change to a system of government that would reduce corruption and bring government closer to the people.
