19-year-old Malaysian cyclist Nur Alyssa Farid is rapidly gaining recognition as a prodigious talent. Her recent successes in the President's Cup, including a silver medal in sprint and two bronze medals in keirin and individual sprint, have solidified her position as a rising star in the sport. Her record-breaking time of 10.953 seconds in the 200-meter flying sprint places her as the second fastest female cyclist in the country. With the Asian Cycling Championship (ACC) 2025 approaching, Alyssa, poised to compete alongside national champions Nurul Izzah and Anis Amira, is determined to make a significant impact.
