Myanmar’s Cardinal Charles Maung Bo of Yangon has issued a farewell message as he concludes his second three-year term as President of the Federation of the Asian Bishops’ Conferences ( FABC ). Looking back on the last six years, he noted much progress and accomplishment. Cardinal Bo warmly welcomed his successor, Cardinal Phillip Neri, Archbishop of Goa e Damão, India, praising his intellectual skills, prophetic leadership, and Christocentric vision, which he believes will usher in a new era of progress. As his term ends, Cardinal Bo thanked everyone for their dedication, contributions, and support, wishing them a joyful Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
