Ringgit opens lower v dollar ahead of US economic data

Bank Muamalat Malaysia Bhd chief economist and social finance Dr Mohd Afzanizam Abdul Rashid said IMF chief Kristalina Georgiva has been quite pessimistic about the economic outlook for the next five years. He added that market players are also waiting for the US Consumer Price Index data, which will be released on Wednesday.
