Tensions flared at the Selat Klang Islamic Cemetery as heirs were barred from witnessing the exhumation and relocation of graves for the East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) project. Pushed for answers regarding the exclusion, relatives voiced their discontent, highlighting the importance of witnessing the process firsthand. While police presence calmed the situation, concerns about transparency and lack of detailed explanations prevailed.

Seorang waris, Zainor Hafiz Kateman, 40, pihaknya kecewa dengan keadaan tersebut apabia tiada penjelasan diberikan pihak terlibat, namun akur dengan arahan penggalian dan pemindahan itu. Tinjauan juga mendapati dua jentolak mula melakukan proses menggali bermula kira-kira pukul 11 pagi dengan turut disertai beberapa pegawai Jabatan Agama Islam Selangor dan kontraktor terlibat.
Difahamkan, proses itu melibatkan lebih 20 kubur mulai hari ini dan akan dilakukan secara berperingkat.
