This weekend, a staggering display of reckless driving in Butterworth has gone viral, leaving onlookers both shocked and intrigued.Police are currently searching for a man who drove against traffic, leading to an accident on Jalan Chain Feri in Butterworth, Penang, on Saturday afternoon.

The Seberang Perai Utara District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Anuar Abdul Rahman, stated that the incident occurred around 2pm when the suspect, in his 30s, collided with several vehicles, causing injuries to five victims."Investigations revealed that the man drove against traffic and crashed into several vehicles on the opposite lane, resulting in five injuries.

We are still tracking the suspect who continued to flee after the incident at the scene," he said when Sinar Harian contacted him on Sunday . Anuar added that further investigations are being conducted under Section 42 of the Road Transport Act 1987. Since Saturday, several photos and videos have gone viral on social media, showing the accident involving a car driving against traffic before hitting other vehicles on Jalan Chain Feri.
