On Tuesday the police prosecutor told magistrate Belinda Merrin that Murdok was not required to appear in person or via video link for the murder charge to be heard. Murdock was ordered to reappear at Southport magistrates court on 14 February, when he is also due for a further hearing on the domestic violence-related charges related to Sleeman’s alleged abduction.
