According to the tipster, the new chip has scored 2 million points in total, compared to the 1.6 million points scored by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
While the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3’s GPU performance is impressive, its CPU performance is less so. The tipster claims that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 scored 440K points in the CPU test, which is only 15.7% higher than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Early benchmarks for the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 look promising, but it’s too early to say for sure how much better it will perform than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
