Prosecutors serve Jho Low’s mother with forfeiture notice

THE lawyer of Evelyn Goh Gaik Ewe – mother of businessman Low Taek Jo, or Jho Low – has told the High Court in Kuala Lumpur that he has been authorised by his client to receive the notice of motion served on her by the Attorney-General’s Chambers for property forfeiture. M. Puravalen explained to Justice Mohamed Zaini Mazlan during case management today that Goh was overseas, following deputy public prosecutor Muhammad Shukri Hussain assertion to the court that the AGC had not been able to serve the notice on Goh.
