BUSINESSMAN Low Taek Jho and a founding member of the hip-hop group the Fugees have been charged with making illegal contributions to former US president Barack Obama’s 2012 re-election campaign. Low, 37, and Haitian-American rapper Prakazrel “Pras” Michel, 46, were accused of conspiracy and other charges in the four-count indictment unsealed yesterday.
