In a statement, PPA spokesperson Eunice Samonte said the suspension of sea travel was based on the Tropical Cyclone Bulletin released by the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration at 11 a.m. on Tuesday.
As such, Samonte said the suspension of sea travel in the affected areas is necessary to ensure the safety of passengers and crew of the ships and ferries.
