The 992.2 Carrera T joins the Porsche 911 lineup as a stripped-down, driver-focused variant equipped with a manual transmission and a lightweight design.

The 992.2 Carrera T , a pared-back variant of Porsche 's iconic 911, introduces a new element: the cabriolet bodystyle. This model also marks the sole Carrera offering a six-speed manual gearbox, making it a haven for purist drivers. Weighing in at a feathery 1,478 kg (with full bucket seats), it boasts a 3.0-liter twin-turbo boxer six-cylinder engine churning out 394 PS and 450 Nm of torque.

This power is channeled to the rear wheels via the manual transmission, which features auto-blipping for seamless downshifts. Performance figures stand at 0-100 km/h in 4.5 seconds (4.7 seconds for the Cabriolet) and a top speed of 295 km/h for the coupé, while the cabriolet reaches a maximum of 293 km/h. Standard features include a sports exhaust system, rear-axle steering, and a PASM adaptive sports suspension that sits 10 mm lower than regular Carrera variants. Visually, the Carrera T is distinguished by a spoiler lip from the Carrera GTS and Vanadium Grey Metallic-painted rear lid grille inlays, exterior mirror covers, and alloy wheels. The rear window panel proudly displays a sticker depicting the six-speed manual gearbox's shift pattern – a nod to its driving enthusiast focus.Inside, the Carrera T continues its unique offerings with a shortened gear lever topped by an open-pore walnut-laminated gearknob, reminiscent of historic race cars like the Porsche 917. The cabin also boasts a sports multi-function steering wheel, Vanadium Grey inserts, and black brushed aluminium door panel inlays. Standard seating comprises four-way electrically adjustable sport seats with a tartan fabric pattern exclusive to the Carrera T. As with most Porsches, options abound. The Carrera T can be specified with 18-way adjustable Adaptive Sports Seats Plus or lightweight full bucket seats. A range of exterior paint schemes, including Shade Green Metallic, Crayon, Slate Grey Neo, Guards Red, Lugano Blue, Gentian Blue Metallic, Cartagena Yellow Metallic, Jet Black Metallic, GT Silver Metallic, Ice Grey Metallic, and the classic Black and White, are available. The Carrera T cabriolet can also be customized with a fabric roof in black, red, blue, or brown.
