PETALING JAYA: Political stability is important in a country as it fights against Covid-19, says Tan Sri Soh Thian Lai.

The Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers president said the present government had responded quickly with “mitigation actions” to stem the outbreak.

“ has led to a health and economic crisis affecting the global community with long-term adverse repercussions on all, ” he said, in response to the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah’s address in Parliament on Monday , in which the King cautioned politicians against creating political turmoil as the country continued to battle the Covid-19 outbreak.
