POLIS membuka lima kertas siasatan berhubung penyebaran berita palsu berkaitan novel koronavirus melalui media sosial, kata Pengarah Jabatan Siasatan Jenayah Polis Di-Raja Malaysia Huzir Mohamed. Empat kes disiasat berkaitan empat kenyataan yang dimuat naik di Facebook sementara satu kes lagi melibatkan berita palsu yang disebarkan melalui aplikasi sembang WhatsApp.
