Seafarers’ group wants health checks on ships from Wuhan too
The National Union of Seafarers of Peninsular Malaysia wants health authorities to also screen ships coming in from Wuhan for the coronavirus. – EPA pic, January 28, 2020.
THE National Union of Seafarers of Peninsular Malaysia has urged port health officials to conduct stringent inspections on crew members of ships arriving from coronavirus-hit regions of China. Its secretary, Zaini Nordin, said this is to prevent the disease from spreading to Malaysian port workers. Effective July 2018, access to full reports will only be available with a subscription.
