KUALA LUMPUR: The organisers and part­icipants of The Walk For Judicial Indepen­dence by the Malaysian Bar will be called in for questioning this week, said the police. Dang Wangi OCPD Asst Comm Noor Dellhan Yahaya confirmed the matter yesterday.

On Friday, the event ended without any march by lawyers to Parliament as police had prevented them from going ahead. A police light strike force unit was called in to provide further security after several lawyers tried to leave the area but were denied.
