MELAKA: Melaka police confirm that a report has been lodged against Pari Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin for allegedly receiving RM1.3mil from Ultra Kirana Sdn Bhd .

Melaka Tengah OCPD Asst Comm Christopher Patit said the report was lodged at the Sungai Udang police station at 9pm on Friday ."We will soon decide on which section of the Penal Code to classify and investigate the report," he said when contacted on Saturday .‘Muhyiddin given RM1.3mil’ Earlier Friday, Muhyiddin denied receiving the cash inducement, sometime in 2018 when he was the then home minister, as claimed by a witness in the corruption trial of Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

Muhyiddin, who is also the National Recovery Council chairman, refuted the claims made by UKSB administrative manager David Tan on the witness stand on Friday that the former received up to RM1.3mil from the company.
