Police in Selangor, Malaysia have questioned 15 individuals in connection with an incident at a Pinkfish concert on New Year's Eve 2024. The suspects are friends of the victims who allegedly consumed ecstasy pills at the event. Toxicology tests are still pending. Two victims, who were hospitalized in critical condition, have regained consciousness but remain weak.

PETALING JAYA: Polis telah merakam keterangan daripada 15 individu setakat ini bagi membantu siasatan berhubung insiden melibatkan pengunjung konsert Pinkfish pada malam sambutan Tahun Baharu 2025.

Ketua Polis Selangor, Datuk Hussein Omar Khan berkata, kesemua individu tersebut merupakan rakan kepada mangsa yang dipercayai hadir ke konsert berkenaan.“Namun, sehingga kini keputusan ujian toksikologi masih belum diterima,” katanya ketika dihubungi, hari ini. Dalam pada itu, Hussein berkata, dua mangsa kini dirawat di unit rawatan rapi Pusat Perubatan Universiti Malaya sudah sedarkan diri, namun keadaan mereka masih lemah.

Semalam, polis mengesan terdapat penjualan pil ekstasi yang diperolehi mangsa pada harga RM50 hingga RM100 di dalam dan luar premis konsert Pinkfish sempena ambang tahun baharu pada Selasa lalu. Menurut Hussein, berdasarkan siasatan mangsa mengambil pil tersebut sebelum rebah tidak sedarkan diri antara pukul 10.45 malam hingga 3 pagi pada keesokan hari. – UTUSAN
