Following the deaths of four individuals after attending the Pinkfish concert in Bandar Sunway, Selangor Police have temporarily suspended the issuance of permits for concerts in the state. Chief Police of Selangor Datuk Hussein Omar Khan stated that this measure is in place until organizers can guarantee control over the event, particularly in preventing criminal elements like drug distribution. Khan emphasized that future concert organizers must demonstrate their ability to prevent drug entry and ensure safety. Failure to do so could result in event cancellations to avoid potential tragedies.
