Three Malaysian police officers went above and beyond the call of duty to help a struggling motorcyclist by repairing his faulty brakes and paying for the cost of the repairs.
A heartwarming video circulating online depicts a motorcyclist, accompanied by his children as passengers, getting stopped after running a red light in Kedah. TikTok user @zukiy3044 shared the clip, revealing how he and two other police officers from the Kepala Batas Police Station were conducting a Crime Prevention Patrol when they encountered the motorcyclist. The motorcyclist admitted to the officers that he couldn't fix his bike's faulty brakes due to financial difficulties.
Touched by his situation, the officers decided to extend compassion instead of taking enforcement action. Corporal Mohd Dazuki Mat Nor, along with Lance Corporals Mohamad Ikram Abdullah and Muhammad Adzhar Hakimi Yusof, took the man's motorcycle to a nearby workshop for repairs and even paid for the entire cost out of their own pockets. The Kota Setar District Police shared the story, praising the officers' kindness and urging others to emulate their actions
