Police in Negri Sembilan shot dead a 38-year-old suspect involved in various criminal activities after he crashed his vehicle into a police car during a stop for inspection. The incident occurred in Seremban on November 27, and the suspect was found to have a record of eight drug and crime cases.

Negri Sembilan police chief Datuk Ahmad Dzaffir Mohd Yussof said the Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department, conducting a preventive patrol in the district at around 10.30pm on Wednesday , spotted a black car driven by the suspect. "Police team tried stop the car for inspection but the suspect, who hails from Klang, crashed into the police car and several gunshots were heard coming from the suspect's vehicle.He said when the firing stopped, police checked the car and found the man unconscious inside, who was later confirmed dead by a medical officer.Meanwhile, Ahmad Dzaffir said a check revealed that the had a record of eight drug and crime cases and is also wanted for an organised crime case in Penang.
