JOHOR BARU : Police have launched an investigation following a viral video showing individuals displaying a foreign national flag during an international cultural festival parade in Sentosa .
Raub indicated that the programme, organised by a cultural association in Sentosa, included participants from over ten countries for a religious gathering. “As a result, an investigation file has been opened under Section 3 of the National Emblems Act 1949 for the display of national emblems in public," he stated in a message on Tuesday .
"We will be calling the organisers and relevant witnesses to assist with the investigation," he added.
