BEIJING: A new sculpture of China’s three-time Olympic gold medallist Quan Hongchan has come under fire for being badly created and not looking at all like the diving queen.
JOHOR BARU: The Immigration Department has detained 58 illegal immigrants in a joint operation conducted in Iskandar Puteri and Johor Baru.
"During 'Ops Bersama', we inspected six locations and checked the documents of 56 foreign nationals, detaining 40 for various immigration offences," he said. The detainees include 19 from Myanmar, 18 from Indonesia, 3 from Bangladesh, 4 from Thailand, 2 from Vietnam, and 1 from Pakistan, with ages ranging from 18 to 53.
