Police are searching for three men after a suspected shooting in Sydney's west.
A man in his 20s was found with serious injuries in Carlisle Avenue at Bidwill this afternoon before he was taken to Westmead Hospital for emergency surgery.A crime scene spanning 300 metres was set up for forensic examination.
"I was hanging my daughter's bed sheets out and all of a sudden just heard three shots and ran inside," one resident said. An intact bullet was found on a pathway behind Bidwill Square, metres away from where children were playing."They were extremely loud," another resident said.It is understood the man ran to a friend's house about 100 metres away while he was hurt and bleeding.Continue reading
