Ipoh district police chief ACP A. Asmadi Abdul Aziz said the two male suspects, aged 38 and 48, and the woman, 41, were all unemployed. “We are also investigating whether the gang was involved in the house break-in at Perak executive councillor, Paul Yong Choo Kiong’s home in Bandar Meru Raya in December.
A. Asmadi said the 38-year-old suspect also had three previous criminal records related to drugs while the female suspect had no criminal record.
