Four individuals, who died after attending the Pinkfish concert in Bandar Sunway on December 31, have been confirmed to have ingested drugs. This conclusion was reached after blood tests conducted on the deceased revealed traces of illicit substances. Subang Jaya District police chief, ACP Wan Azlan Wan Mamat, stated that a report received last week from the Department of Chemistry confirmed the presence of drugs in the blood of all four victims.
The matter has been referred to the University Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC) for a comprehensive report. Wan Azlan further explained that police have collected statements from 52 witnesses, encompassing friends of the deceased and personnel who were present at the concert.
