The Department of Health (DOH) on Sunday recorded 1,326 new COVID-19 cases, increasing the total nationwide caseload to 4,033,682.

This is the fifth straight day that more than 1,000 new cases were recorded, with 1,874 new infections tallied on Saturday.Based on the DOH’s latest data, the country’s active cases increased to 18,482 from 18,348 on Saturday—two consecutive days of more than 18,000 active cases after going down to 17,049 on November 23.

The Health Department said at least 10,326 individuals were tested, while 314 testing labs submitted data on November 26. DOH also said that the bed occupancy in the country was 23.1%, with 6,499 beds occupied, while 21,675 were vacant.
