Petron Malaysia celebrates reaching a milestone with the opening of its 800th retail station, conveniently located at the Pedas-Linggi (Southbound) layby on the PLUS North-South Expressway. The new station boasts a 4,047 sq ft space offering fuels, a Treats Mart with Dunkin' products, ATM services, and a unique Quick Treats booth for grab-and-go snacks and beverages. The station also highlights locally produced goods through Petron's Sapot Lokal initiative, supporting local entrepreneurs.
Petron Malaysia has reached a new milestone for its network of retail stations, with the official opening of its 800th station within the Pedas-Linggi layby on the PLUS North-South Expressway .
The new retail outlet is a 4,047 sq ft space aimed at catering to motorists both local to the area and those travelling long-distance in the southbound direction, and the station has opened in time for the January school holidays as well as the upcoming festive season, says Petron Malaysia. In addition to fuels, the Pedas-Linggi station houses a Treats Mart retail store where customers may purchase in-store products from Dunkin’ and, as well as use the services of an ATM. This is also the first Petron station that features a Quick Treats booth in the forecourt area, enabling customers to purchase snacks and beverages while staying close to their vehicle, says Petron Malaysia.
As with existing Treats Mart outlets at Petron retail stations, the one in the newly-opened Pedas-Linggi layby outlet is home to locally produced goods as part of the Sapot Lokal initiative, in support of local entrepreneurs with Petron Treats Mart locations as a platform, and through collaborative efforts, said the company.
“The opening of our 800th service station marks a great end to 2024 and an excellent start to 2025 for Petron. This shows our commitment to bringing our products and services to more Malaysians, which cater to their fuel needs and many more. As we transform our stations into a place of convenience, we are excited to diversify our non-fuel business and welcome more partners who share our passion for service and excellence,” said Petron Malaysia GM Mohd Nizam Mansor.
