Perikatan’s seat allocations all sorted out, says Azmin

PETALING JAYA: Perikatan Nasional has finalised its seat distribution for the six state elections, with a national-level meeting scheduled for next Monday.

Its information chief Datuk Seri Azmin Ali said the national committee on seat distribution would meet on Monday to finalise the process following the completion of the talks by the six states.

“We have decided which party gets what seats. We will now move on to the process of selecting the right candidates,” he said. He added that discussions were still ongoing with its Perikatan partners for seats in Kelantan and Terengganu. “The findings will now be brought to the central committee at the national level. Overall, there was no major problem and the discussions for all six states were conducted in harmony,” he said when contacted.
