Perak ruler consents to congregational prayers from Friday

PERAK’S Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah has consented to obligatory prayers being performed in a congregation at all mosques and surau in the state starting Friday. State Islamic Religion and Malay Customs Council CEO Sharul Azam Shaari said the ruler gave his consent upon receiving advice from the Perak Fatwa Council, based on National Security Council and Health Ministry guidelines.
